Tattoo removal

In the not-so-distant past, tattoos were considered permanent, but today, thanks to advances in laser technology, they can be removed effectively and safely.

You can get rid of your tattoos or at least fade them significantly with different methods. Tattoos are often removed with a laser, which specifically targets the ink and removes it without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Common questions

01. How many sessions does laser tattoo removal take?
Tattoo removal can take between 2 and 11 sessions depending on the color, location, time of tattooing and other factors. There are regular intervals between treatment sessions so that the skin has a chance to heal and clean the tattoo pigments. Usually, there is an interval of 40 to 45 days between each treatment session. In the pictures below, you can see the effect of Q-switched laser on the eyebrow tattoo before the treatment, after the first session and after the fourth session. Each treatment session will make your tattoo lighter.
02. Is laser tattoo removal painful?
Laser tattooing can be painful. To prevent this from happening, we use local anesthesia in the form of creams or injections.
03. Is laser tattooing possible for everyone?
Yes, almost everyone can use this method. For those who do not have favorable general health conditions, suffer from immune system problems, and are pregnant or breastfeeding, we cannot perform laser therapy.
04. Can the tattoo be completely removed?
Most tattoos disappear completely within 6 to 8 sessions. Once the tattoo is removed, it is gone forever. Some tattoos, such as those with purple ink, do not fade completely and may require a few more sessions.
05. How long after tattooing can it be removed?
Most doctors recommend waiting at least 6 weeks. Your skin needs time to heal, and if you try to clean it too soon, the possibility of blisters and scars will increase.
